The bus ran great all summer long and we got back to Texas in time to save the garden. Our little house is working out well and it is just the right size for us. The porch continues to be a delight. We had a lovely and delicious Thanksgiving dinner for ten.
We have a couple of international trips planned for next year and feel fortunate to be able to do that.
On the flip side, as we get older, we lose people and hear bad news about friends. We have recently had two good friends diagnosed with debilitating diseases. No one here gets out alive but the details can be messy, sorrow-filled and disheartening. We offer all our love and support going forward.
As we enter a new decade and year, we pray for people to show their love and support and forgiveness to each other. It can be difficult in these tumultuous times to keep an upbeat attitude but that is exactly what will bring us into the light. The pendulum always swings back.
Be the change you wish to see.
Merry Christmas. Happy Hanukkah. Joyous Kwanzaa. Happy New Year.
May our selves and our planet thrive in 2020.
